February 8th I turned 26! Yikes I am starting to feel little old. Well not necessarily feel old but when I take a look at my life it sure seems that way. Feb 18th I will be celebrating my youngest very first birthday and in June my oldest turns 3! And then of course this summer my husband and I will be celebrating our sixth year of marriage. Six years wow that seems like so long! these last six years have gone by so fast and have been so amazing! I could rave for hours about how lucky I have been to find such an amazing husband and father to our little girls but ill just get to the point of this post… my birthday! So it started off when my husband woke me up for chocolate chip pancakes mmm… because my husband had to work that day my girls and I spent the day with my mother. We did a little shopping and then celebrated at La Casita. If you have never had fried ice cream this would be the place to try it! It is absolutely mouth watering! Once we arrived home my husband told me to go upstairs and put on a aqua colored shirt. I was little confused I knew he had something up his sleeve. Not knowing what I went along with it and changed. As I entered my studio he said welcome to your very own cake smash. He had went out and bought cake from Hermans Bakery and balloons from D-K-Scrap-n-Stamp, had it all setup and even figured out how to work my camera with my studio lighting. I was very Impressed!
Then this happened…my dear mother decided I needed some help lol Yes it tasted delicious but having frosting up your nose is not as comfortable as it may seem haha
After all the mess was cleaned up he then surprised me with a new video camera! I was already so pleased with how my birthday had turned out this was just the cherry on top! I am so excited to be able to now be able to capture my little girls dancing with daddy and being all around silly in high quality vs my phone. Big shout out to my amazing husband! You mean the world to me! Now… anyone have ideas how I can top this? His birthday is 3 days after me and I am clueless Ughoo… lol
